Blein ny Gaelgey, the Year of the Manx Language, is a year-long celebration of Manx, taking place throughout 2026.
The Year is being organised by Jeebin, the Manx Language Network, in conjunction with the community. The Year is supported by the Isle of Man Government, and celebrates and coincides with a number of key anniversaries for Gaelg, the Manx language.
There are three aims, and five themes for the Year. These, along with further information, can be found on www.yearofmanx.im
Anyone can get involved in participating in, or organising events or projects for the Year of the Manx Language. Everyone is welcome.
