🌈 What is Possan Cloie?

Possan Cloie is Mooinjer Veggey’s family playgroup for babies, toddlers, and young children.
Through stories, songs, crafts and play, we gently introduce Manx language in a warm, supportive environment where children learn naturally alongside their grown-ups.

Our sessions are full of fun, music and creativity — perfect for helping little ones explore language, make friends, and feel part of our island’s culture.

👶 Who is it for?

Possan Cloie is for:

• Babies, toddlers & preschool children

• Parents, grandparents & caregivers

• Families who already use Manx or those who are completely new to the language

No experience of Manx is needed — everyone is welcome.

🎵 What happens in a session?

Each weekly session includes:

• Songs & Rhymes — simple Manx words introduced through music

• Storytime — bilingual tales and traditional Manx themes

• Creative Play — crafts, sensory activities and themed play

• Mini Manx Moments — everyday words and phrases to try at home

Everything is playful, gentle and developmentally appropriate.
Children learn naturally through joining in, watching, and exploring.

Sessions are £2 to attend, but donations are always appreciated and help us continue offering Manx-medium early years experiences.
